The Acts 2 Journey Cohort is a yearlong process of discovery, discernment, and development that builds on the strengths of the congregation to learn from the past and envision the future. Church leaders engaged in the cohort will seek God in prayer together as they dream about the future of their churches.

The Acts 2 Journey Cohort consists of four weekend retreats over the course of a year. 

Retreats begin with a Friday session for pastors and spouses. This session addresses topics such as leading change, conflict resolution, time management, recruiting team members, casting vision, and communication. 

Each retreat also involves a Saturday event for pastors, spouses, and the vision team that pastors select. Pastors are asked to bring 8–15 people from their church—people who will help them plan the future of their congregation.
